Destination Davos Klosters Wiesen
The highest city of Europe
Originally, it’s the climate to which Davos owes its rise and its extension to a city. Already 150 years ago, the European High Society visited the clinics of Davos. Winter sports in all its facets has always been decisive for the development of DAVOS. Whether it was the first sled race with the Davos sledge or the first bow lift on the Bolgen, Davos was always right there on the forefront. With the rise of snowboarding in the 80s, the Jakobshorn was the only mountain on which snowboarders were allowed to use the lifts!
Davos is also a meeting and research city. With the modern congress center, the research stations, the clinics and hospitals, a lively exchange of knowledge takes place in this town.
